Bright Eyes - Rondé

Deze rocksong van eigen bodem werkt goed om je triolen feel bij te schroeven. Hierbij wordt elke tel onderverdeeld in drie gelijkwaardige noten (1 te ne 2 te ne 3 te ne 4 te ne). De noten van de lead partij op de E (6e) snaar worden met palm muting gespeeld, maar de hoge noten op de G (3e) snaar niet. Hierdoor krijg je elke keer een accent op deze noot, wat de partij heel levendig maakt. Je plectrum blijft de hele tijd wisselslag spelen, zo blijf je in de flow van het ritme. Als je dit voor het eerst oefent, laat al die techniek dan achterwege en probeer eerst alleen het ritme te spelen met wisselslag. Als dat goed gaat, kan je langzaamaan de juiste noten gedempt proberen spelen. In de pre-chorus worden enkele barré akkoorden gespeeld en kan je even bijkomen van die snelle ritmes. De rhythm partij bestaat uit stpower chords die vanaf het refrein mee worden gespeeld. Als je in je eentje speelt zou je in het refrein de rhythm partij kunnen spelen, en in de rest van het nummer de lead partij.
