Om met deze opname mee te spelen zal je je gitaar anders moeten stemmen, namelijk naar A = 444 Hz. Dat is iets hoger dan de normale 440. Als je een goed stemapparaatje hebt dan is de kans groot dat je ergens op het schermpje het getal 440 ziet staan. Als het goed is kan je dan met een bepaalde knop dit getal aanpassen naar 444.

Het valt je misschien op dat bijna alle akkoorden een 7 hebben, of het nou m7, maj7 of 7 is. Dit soort akkoorden zijn kenmerkend in stijlen als jazz en soul omdat ze een fijne zachte kleur hebben. Om tijdens het refrein de percussie-instrumenten te imiteren kan je de snaren gedempt aanslaan zoals het is genoteerd in de tab. Je dempt de snaren met de linkerhand terwijl je met je rechterhand het ritme door blijft spelen.
