Nothing To Lose - Douwe Bob

Een licht dramatisch, maar verfrissend en catchy nummer van Douwe Bob. ‘Nothing to Lose’ biedt ons enkele interessante zaken om op te oefenen. Er komt een heel aantal akkoorden aan bod, dat zorgt al voor genoeg uitdaging. In de strofe wordt er voor wat rust gezorgd door het gebruik van de typische ‘kampvuurslag’. In het refrein wordt er voor wat meer druk gezorgd omdat er continu in achtste noten wordt doorgespeeld. Een interessante variatie in dynamiek bij de overgang van de strofe naar het refrein dus. Let ook goed op het afwisselen van D naar Dsus2, D en Dsus4 in de strofe, een truc die heel vaak toegepast wordt/kan worden op een D-akkoord.
