In the first beginner guitar lessons (level 1 to 3) you have learned the general basics. We discussed this further in levels 4 to 6. During levels 7 to 9 you will learn different chords, barré chords, music theory, strumming and different guitar techniques. You will learn from various instructional videos, the media player exercises and songs. Songs covered in levels 7 to 9 include: Robin Schultz with Sugar, Nielson with Sexy Als Ik Dans, Nirvana with Smells Like Teen Spirit, Kensington with Sorry and Danny Vera with Roller Coaster.
The chords you will learn in these advanced guitar lessons are power chords, barre chords and slash chords. If you have mastered these chords you can play hundreds of songs. šø
It is possible that we do not (yet) deal with parts in certain guitar lesson level (eg general, technique and rhythms). Then follow the lessons as they are offered to you.
In the last part X.60 you see a training schedule with guitar lessons exercises. These are exercises that you have had earlier in the lessons but are also new practice. Remember, the more you practice the better you will get. š

Guitar lessons advanced level 7
During guitar lessons advanced level 7 we will discuss the power chords. Here, too, there is a small repetition of the barré chords because they take quite some time. The suspended (“sus) chords are also discussed. In addition, you get a part of theory about the minor scales and chord construction. During level 7 you will learn different numbers and techniques which you will conclude in a summary in lesson 7.60.
Guitar lessons advanced level 8
In advanced level 8, the different variations of the G chord are covered. We will also be more technical about playing in different music styles and soloing your guitar. During level 8 you will learn different numbers and techniques which you will conclude in summary in lesson 8.60.
Guitar lessons advanced level 9
In guitar lessons advanced level 9 we continue making music. We try to write our own chord scheme, we treat the āslashā chords (not comparable to the guitarist Slash) and we discuss improvisation and arpeggios. During level 9 you will learn different numbers and techniques which you will conclude in summary in lesson 9.60.
