Anyone who turned on their radio occasionally in the 2000s could not possibly have not come into contact with the hit single 'Kryptonite' by the 3 Doors Down. It's a catchy song with some interesting guitar work. Let's take a look at the guitar riff that comes after the second and third choruses!
Riff
The riff is played on one string in the scale of B minor. This shows us that it is not always necessary to think in a position to play something well. So definitely try playing one string yourself and follow your ears, who knows what kind of cool guitar line you will end up with!
What should I pay attention to when playing this riff?
Respect the fingering so that you always practice the riff the same way. This way you really get to know it and play it;
Also try to pay attention to the movement of your pick. If you follow these closely and respect them, you will be able to play better at the tempo and with the right feel;
Study the tab at a leisurely pace and learn the riff note by note. Add a group each time. This way you will know and understand him by heart faster.
If you have any questions or comments, please post them at the bottom of this blog or in our forum !
Good luck!
